Flower Power

Entertaining at home is not just about cooking a good meal. It is about creating a totally delightful experience for your guests, with them in mind. Decorating the house helps to create the right ambience for that perfect party.

One of the rituals The Hubs & I go through the day before each party is to arrange flowers over a bottle of Prosecco. It has become something we look forward to, a chance to get creative… and out do each other!

Of course our arrangements are nothing like Andy’s, a florist we use for special occasions. His arrangements are inventive, thoughtful, and sometimes unexpected! He’s a genius with flowers, and an infectious and engaging individual . I’m thrilled about the opportunity to host a Floral Arrangement Workshop and Tea with Andy Yap of Bleu Florist & Gifts.

Workshop Content:
– introduction of the flowers we are working with (origin & characteristics)
– introduction of tools
– care tips for the flowers
– demonstration of basic floral arrangement
– hands-on session with guidance from Andy
– finished product for you to take home
– tea-time, Q&A, sharing stories
